BREAKING NEWS Former Vice Chairman Patani LGA, Hon. Jonathan Oweikeye, Chief Richman Yinbiri and Supporters Decamp to PDP

It is another win for the Peoples Democratic Party in Delta State as former chieftains of the All Progressives Congress ( APC ) in Patani local government area officially returned to the their original family the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) after their surgeon and strange marriage with the All Progressives Congress. Hon. Jonathan Oweikeye and Chief Richman Yinbiri led their supporters to the peoples democratic party secretariat in Patani to officially announce their return to the PDP.

Hon. Jonathan who expressed joy at his return stated that he was not at peace with himself seeing his family and friends in the PDP while he was standing in the APC. Whatever that transpired in the past that made us to leaving the party have been sorted out. We have a chairman in Patani local government area that is committed to development and enhancing the living conditions of our people and as such it is only wise that we give him the needed support to implement those policies and programmes that will transform the entire local government area.

Chief Richman Yinbiri  who was used to replace Hon. Abel Trakiriowei as running mate to the APC candidate in the January 6 local government elections expressed satisfaction with the way and manner the chairman of peoples democratic party Comr Godspower Godspower Omafuvwe Asiuwhu is running the party and the level of infrastructural developmental projects embarked upon by the Governor of Delta State, Sen. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa across the state.

We left this party as a result of irreconcilable differences we had at the time we left, but we have come realise that you cannot run away from your home when there is crisis, all you need do is to try and work out the differences. The APC is not a political party, rather it is a clique of certain individuals who run the party as their personal estate.  What we have contributed to this party is so much that we have no option than to return since we believe in the capacity of the Chairman, Asiuwhu Godspower to accommodate all interest within the party that will eventually lead it to victory in 2019. The PDP is well organised and prepared for 2019 and we don't want to be on the other side.

While welcoming the decampees, the Chairman of PDP in Patani LGA, Comr Godspower Asiuwhu thanked them for returning to their original family. For me, "you guys just took a stroll to check what is happening outside and have come back to the only true and democratic party in the whole of Africa with the interest of the masses at heart" and that is the PDP he added

The APC has brought untold hardship on our people and Nigerians are being slaughtered and killed by Fulani herdsmen ( Terrorists ) while our security forces sit back without protecting the lives of our people. The primary function of government is security of lives and property and the APC led Federal government has failed in this direction. I urge those who are still on the other side to do themselves good by coming over to the PDP. Nigerians are tired of the suffering and hardship caused by the APC and are determined to vote out the APC in 2019.

 Let me us this opportunity to call on those who have not registered and collected their PVCs to do so with the current window of opportunity provided by the Independent National Electoral Commission ( INEC )

Finally i want to reassure you all that we will not discriminate or treat you differently, everybod has equal right in the Peoples Democratic Party and as such those of you who have come back will enjoy all rights and privilege accorded members of the PDP.
