GOVERNOR OKOWA HAS SHOT DELTA STATE INTO GLOBAL RECOGNITION. BARR UZUM.
The Executive Assistant/CEO (Directorate of Orientation ) to Governor Okowa, Hon Barr Eugene Azuka Uzum has commended His Excellency, Sen Dr Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, Executive Governor of Delta State for the completion of the STEPHEN KESHI STADIUM ASABA and the Asaba International Airport.
The Executive Assistant who made this Commendation while fielding questions from Journalists in Asaba noted that Governor Okowa has shot Delta state into Global recognition through the completion and upgrading of the Asaba International Airport and the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba.
According to the EA Orientation, the African Senior Athletics championships games and the AITEO Finals between Enugu Rangers and Kano Pillars as well as the Super Eagles Training in the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba endeared the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) to grant the STEPHEN KESHI STADIUM ASABA as one of the stadia the FOOTBALL BODY would be using for international matches .
The International Friendly played today between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Uganda in the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba did not only got Deltans smiling and proud of having a focused Governor like Okowa but also excited NIGERIANS at large that Delta state has been shot into Global recognition through the SMART ADMINISTRATION of Governor Okowa .
Right now soccer lovers from across the globe can fly from wherever they are to watch their favourite matches in Asaba because the Asaba International Airport is now in full OPERATION.
No doubt when FIFA MATCHES would be played in the Stephen Keshi Stadium ,economic and social activities would be affected positively and Deltans would testify for themselves the difference between a PROMISE MADE PROMISE KEPT GOVERNMENT and a government that promise and fail her people Barr Uzum noted.
I am very optimistic that when Governor Okowa finishes his Second term in Office as the Executive Governor of Delta State, Delta State would be an economic hub of Africa Barr Uzum noted adding that Governor Okowa came prepared to change the narratives of Deltans and should be given all the support to continue on his duty to deliver more to Deltans.
