OKOWA RECEIVES LETTER OF APPROVAL FOR THE ASABA AIRPORT UPGRADE

The Governor of Delta State, Sen Dr Ifeanyi Okowa has received  the letter of approval of the ASABA Airport to category C Aircraft operations (B737 or it's equivalent), with category 6 Aerodrome Rescue and Fire fighting Services by Mr Austine Ayemidejor Austine, the Special Project Director of the Airport on Friday.

Mr Ayemidejor Austine briefed the governor on the progress made so far and used the opportunity to thank him for his relentless support in achieving this milestone.

Governor Okowa while receiving the letter  expressed joy and stated that his administration is vigorously and assiduously working towards achieving International status for the Airport particularly after the hugely successful flight operation from Asaba to South Africa operated by Max Air with a Boeing 737.
