The Members and Executives of Delta State PDP Social Media Team DESPSOMET has applauded the Delta State Governor Sen.Dr Ifeanyi Okowa for his Commitment towards the Growth and Development of Sports in the State.

The Coordinator of the Group DESPSOMET Comr Edwin Afejuku who disclosed this Yesterday revealed that Dr Ifeanyi Okowa has indeed done excellently in transforming the  State to the Home of Sports Tourism noting that the immense Contributions of the Okowa's led administration towards the excellent Performance by "Team Delta" in the just Concluded 19th National Sports Festival  deserves to be Commended.

"Your track records in Sports Development in Delta State and your Welfare Packages to Athletes is second to none and should be emulated by other State Governments. Gov Okowa through the Development of Sports has attracted National and International recognition to the State"

He Congratulated  "Team Delta" for Coming out 1st in the just Concluded National Sports Festival with 163 Gold, 88 Silver and 101 Bronze Medals, adding that the immeasurable Contributions and determination of Dr Ifeanyi Okowa's led administration towards the repositioning of Sports in the State led to the Sweet Victory of Team Delta at the National Sports Festival.

Furthermore, he  Congratulates the Delta State Governor Dr Ifeanyi Okowa for the Award received at the finals of the 19th National Sports Festival for Promoting Continental Sports, he described the Award as well deserved noting that Dr Ifeanyi Okowa has Proved himself beyond every reasonable doubt in Sports Development which he also described as the Human Capital Development of the Okowa's led administration.
