ONYEME CHARGES HEAD OF MOTOR LICENSING OFFICES (MLO'S) ON ACCOUNTABILITY, SINCERITY OF PURPOSE AND COMMITMENT TOWARDS SERVICE DELIVERY.

The Executive Chairman Delta State Board of Internal Revenue DBIR Sir Monday John Onyeme has Charged the newly Posted Heads Of Motor Licensing Offices on accountability, Sincerity of Purpose and Committment towards Service Delivery.

He said the Purpose of the  Board of Internal Revenue is to generate revenue for the Government in other to Provide basic amenities for her Citizens hence we must show Committment towards boosting the Internally Generated Revenue of the State and we must desist from any illegal acts that will terminate our job.

Onyeme who made this Known today during a meeting with all Heads of Motor Licensing Offices at the DBIR Headquarters he said" When i came in as Chairman Delta State Board of Internal Revenue, i received a lots of Complaint about junior heading Senior and i  Corrected that anomalies , i want you all to Stand against illegality in your various offices, you must desist from any acts that will terminate your Job"

While urging the Heads of Motor Licensing Officers to embrace Sincerity of Purpose and accountability he frowned at the attitudes of Staff who indulge in the Collection of illegal fees as he described the Collection of Admin fees, SMS fees and other unlawful Collection as illegal"Desist from the Collection of illegal fees because if you are Caught, i will make use of my Pen and you will be dismissed from the Civil Service" Onyeme added.

"You are the few selected once that is Charged with the responsibility to take the Motor Licensing Offices back to the right track and much is expected from you all, you must take Proper records on the activities in your various offices, you are not expected to hold any money as regards to number Plates, you must Submit Weekly and Monthly reports to my office and you must put in the best of your ability towards enhancing the Internally Generated Revenue of the State"

He Continued" You have to follow due  Process in handling your work, there should be no Shortcuts and you must give your Staffs a Clear Schedule of duties so that each and everyone can be held responsible when issues arises, you must not hide any fraudulent activities in your offices, reports every acts of sabotage to my Office and you must Cooperate with the Person who will come to Play Supervisor role" he advice.

"As a Board we are Progressing in terms of Internally Generated Revenue and as the Head of Motor Licensing Offices you must see Sincerity and Accountability as your watchword, put in your best to Position the Motor Licensing Offices towards the Pathway of Increase in the IGR of the State"
