Mudiaga Commends Gov Okowa Over His Sensitive Handling of COVID-19 Pandemic

...urged deltans to take responsibility, as govt does her part.

A Chieftain of People's Democratic Party PDP in Ethiope East local government area of Delta State, Hon. Chief Mudiaga Ejovi has commended the Governor of Delta State, Sen (Dr) Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa for his sensitive approach in managing the coronavirus pandemic in the State.

Hon Ejovi who disclosed this to newsmen during the weekend in Warri, has commended the COVID-19 Committee setup by Gov Okowa in managing the COVID-19 outbreak as wonderful and excellent.

He thanked head of the committee, Mr Ebie Chiedu, who is the Secretary to the State Government and others for their huge commitment and trust in managing the covid-19 spread which has recorded many casualties in the state.

He also applauded the courage and determination of our medical teams who are in the lifeline of the exercise treating and taking care of the covid-19 patients at various isolation centres across the state.

Subsequently, he appreciated all individuals and cooperate organizations who have in one way or the other contributed and supported the state government efforts in improving and managing the effect of the covid-19 spread in the state.

He thereafter thanked all Deltans for their understanding and cooperation during this harsh economy woes of covid-19 lockdown in the state.

However, he urged all citizens to adhere to the state government precautionary measures of social distance, face masks wear and washing of hands to prevent spread of the virus.

Though, he said this will soon be a thing of the past because it's just the enemies trap to distract the world, but we as citizens must be prayerful and committed to our social responsibility of taking care of ourselves, he asserted.

Finally, he pray God Almighty to guide and protect us all in Jesus name Amen.
