Chairman Peoples Democratic Party Patani LGA Godspower Omafuvwe Asiuwhu has commended the State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party Olorogun Barr Kingsley Esiso for taking the party back to the people. He made this commendation after a meeting with the State Chairman by the 25 local government party chairmen in Asaba on the need to reposition the party to its winning ways in the state, especially at the grassroots, beginning with a tour of the 25 local government areas. Noting that the Chairman has built confidence in the people who elected him to lead the party to its winning ways. He called on party members not to be disenchanted by happenings at the National leadership saying that these are manifest signs of greatness in the party, that at the end of the day the party will come out stronger. He charged party members to remain commited and dedicated to the peoples democratic party as it is the only party that has the interest of the masses.
Asiuwhu used the medium to call on Deltans to support the programmmes of the state government, noting that the welfare, interest and wellbeing of the masses is paramount to this administration of Sen. Dr Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa.
