ORODJE CONFERS CHIEFTAINCY TITLE ON INOAGHAN
Announcing the conferment of the title, Eghele of Okpe Kingdom (Gift of Okpe kingdom ) on Hon Inoaghan, the highly respected King said, the title bestowed on Hon Eugene was in appreciation of all the good works he has been doing in Okpe Kingdom.
The royal father who conferred the title on the PDP aspirant , who is also the Special Adviser to the Delta State Governor on Special Duties at the weekend said “Inoaghan has been a true son of the soil , not only he has given much to the society, his Youth empowerment has been unprecedented. As a true son of the soil, I confer on you this title of Eghele and your wife, the Ohwore of Okpe land" the Monarch said, amidst applause from the thousands of supporters, who had converged at the Orodje's palace in Orerokpe.
Responding Hon Inoaghan thanked the Orodje for finding him worthy of the title, saying that not only this recognition will spur him on, his efforts in making the world a better place will not stop.
"I will continue to put smiles on the faces of the people around us" saying that his his aspiration to be the Sapele Local Government was born out of his genuine heart to help the people and give them a feel of what governance really is.
The train then headed to Chief Inoaghan's house, where the crowd was treated to Cultural display and feted with sumptuous meal and wine amidst all Chiefs of the kingdom fraternising with one of their own.
Those present at the occasion include the Chief Strategist of Delta State, Chief PDO Akpeki, the Local Government PDP Chairman, Chief Dr David Oghenekevwe, the Commissioner of Science and Technology, Hon Joyce Overah, Director of Airports , and Coordinator of Team Okowa Again, Hon Austin Ayemidejor, Chief Professor Sam Oyovbaire, Chief Charles Ovule and Chief Margaret Unukegwo.
Others include Chief Anirah, Hon Ejaife Odebala, Hon Goodluck Arimitan, Hon Austin Opubor, Chief Inoaghan's running mate, Mr Vincent Ayomanor and others.
