WE HAVE NO OTHER PARTY IN SAPELE - OKORODUDU DECLARES.... AS PDP CAMPAIGN BEGINS WARD TO WARD CAMPAIGN FOR JANUARY 6 LG POLLS.

The  Special Adviser on Community Development  to the Delta State Governor, Comrade Benson Okorodudu has declared that there is no other party in Sapele Local Government area, in Delta State except the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, adding that the other Parties the people of Sapele recognised, apart from the PDP, are Birthday Parties, Baby Naming Parties, Funeral Ceremonies and so on.

Making this declaration  at Ward 9 in Amukpe, Sapele, where the PDP Candidate at the January 6th election, Hon. Eugene Inoaghan was presented to people of the ward and handing over of the party's flag to the party  Councillorship candidate of the ward, Hon Sheriff Afondu, on Wednesday, 6th of December, Okorodudu said it was obvious the way the party has began its campaign and the general acceptance only shows there is no other party in Sapele and the State.

“Our strongly believe in democracy, that every single votes must count, has been driving the party into vigorous campaign. We have visited 8 wards and this is the ninth ward. We have more to visit and the way we have been accepted by the people only tells us of one thing, that the Peoples Democratic Party has not only been accepted by the people, the only Party they know is the PDP . If there is any other Party, Sapele people know, those parties should be Child Naming Parties, Birthday Parties, funeral parties, House warming parties" Okorodudu said.

The scribe who doubles as the Publicity Secretary for the party at the Local Government level and chairman of the Publicity Committee Sapele For Inoaghan Campaign team, added  "that the time to win elections sitting in your offices or bedrooms are gone, "let the other parties come out and campaign, so far it is obvious that they know their faith in the fourth Local Government election, that is why they have refuse to come out to campaign" he went on adding that the governor  and Sapele leaders has done well scouting for the people's choice in Hon Eugene Inoaghan.

Chief Paulinus Akpeki,the Chief Strategist of Delta State and leader of the PDP Campaign team also urged the people to vote for the PDP candidate in the January 6th election, according to the man popularly hailed Ugo (his Chieftaincy title) "We are here not to campaign for you to vote Inoaghan, we know he will certainly win , he is your son but we are here to appeal for your one hundred percent vote. The Ninety five percent you have always been giving us is not enough from this ward, give us Sokoto votes(in reference to the hundred percent)" he charged the  people

Hon Dr David Oghenekevwe, the Sapele Local government area, Party Chairman who led other members of the campaign team alongside other Party Stakeholders from the different wards, to the events, in his speech, the  party Chieftain said that, though PDP has become a sort of religion to Sapele, PDP will win convincingly in the forthcoming election because the party is working assiduously towards achieving the victory.

Oghenekevwe then charged all Successful Candidates to go back to their various Wards, villages and Units to preach the gospel of PDP to all members and continue to work closely with the grassroot members so as to ensure massive victory for the party in the forth coming January 6th elecctions.

The Commissioner for Science and Technology Hon. Joyce Overah, Director of Asaba and Osubi airports, and convener of Team Okowa Again, Hon Austin Ayemidejor, Chief Charles Ufuoma Obule, Chief Anthony Amitaye, member representing Sapele at DESOPADEC, who all spoke, affirmed that the people in their areas are in full support of PDP, stressing that they will work in unison till total victory is achieved by the party.
They used the opportunity to applaud Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for his visionary leadership, he has demonstrate in governance, especially his projects in turning the State around in infrastructural development,urging the people to come out and welcome the Governor on the 15th of December when he (the governor) will storm town for the grand rally in support of Hon Eugene Inoaghan's candidature.

The campaign Tour which flagged off from the Rural Wards on Tuesday morning, December 5th, saw the team visiting Ward 20 in Ugborhen, ward 19 (Ozue), ward 18(Elume), ward 17 and ward 16 where flags were presented to Pst Sunny Isiorho. Hon John Tebu, Hon Patrick Ovwile, and Miss Excellent Avwigborighe of the aforementioned wards.

Earlier in the day, the team had visited Ibada-Elume (Ward 15) Igbeku (Ward 14) Ibada Amukpe (Ward 13) before stopping at Amukpe and belting at Okirigwre (ward 11).where  the team were not only warmly received, flags were presented to the councillorship candidates too.

Enita Godfrey O , Engr Felix Oborodowan , Chief William Avwigborighe , Chief Clever Obule, Hon Paul Umukoro , Engr Tony Aniretan, Hon Goodluck Arimetan,and  Prince Joseph Atseyinku.

Others include Joyce Jemirheri , woman Leader PDP Sapele LGA, Hon Harrison Ekeleme , Secretary, PDP Sapele LGA, Alhaji Tanimu Adamu, vice Chairman PDP Sapele LGA, Comrade Austyn Opubor

Hon Pemu Festus , Hon Dora Aweto, Hon Philo Asama, Comr Jt Okperiogho, Solomon Afinotan, Hon Idemi Friday, Comr Samuel Ifude ,  all Councillorship candidates and pressure groups like the ever vocal Door to Door Campaign team for Eugene, the Ejiro Jamani led Austin Ayemidejor Support Group, the Concerned Group for Good Governance led by Cyril Aruopkere , Eugene Women in politics, I DEY WITH EUGENE CAMPAIGN, AMUKPE YOUTH IN POLITICS, and host of others.

The team is expected to resume campaign on the 12 and 13th of this month with schedule to visit the other ten wards.
