OVER 300 APC MEMBERS IN OFONI COMMUNITY,SAGBAMA LGA OF BAYELSA STATE DEFECTED TO THE PDP.
Ofoni community in Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State was today turned 100% PDP as over 300 APC loyalists/members defected to the ruling People's Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.
The defectors said their reason for defection hinged on the general clueless ness of the APC government that has lost grip and acceptance from top to bottom.
According to them,the 6 years Restoration Government of Dr. Henry Seriake Dickson has done enough for Ofoni community.
In their words " today Ofoni community is Motorable through the construction of the Sagbama Ekeremor Road that is now up to Aleibiri.
Other benefits listed by the defectors includes:
√ The connection of Ofoni and environ to the National Grid through the All Community Electrification project initiated by the Restoration Government.
√ That Ofoni community also have a faculty of Agriculture in the Newly Established University of Africa.
√ Link roads constructed by the Restoration Government across the length and breath of the community amongst others.
The defectors also promised to deliver PDP in the future elections and pledged a total support for the policies and programs of the Restoration Government.
The Defectors where received by the Honourable Commissioner for works and Infrastructure,Bar Lawrence Ewhrujakpo at his Office in Yenagoa.
