Udu Council Chairman’s Emergence Is the Will of God Says Avwomakpa...By Henry Ubus

The South-South Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Archbishop Goddowell Avwomakpa has revealed that the emergence of Udu Local Government Council Chairman Hon.Chief Jite Brown is the will of God. The  Founder of Christ Missionaries Crusaders Church gave this revelation today 19/01/18 when he led  top  men of God to pray for the Udu Council Boss, Udu Legislative Arm and all the Staff of the Council at Otor-Udu Headquarters of Udu Local Government Council.

Avwomakpa who  reiterated  that he initially kicked against the candidature of Hon. Chief Jite because it was alleged that he is a  Muslim, maintained that after much investigations via an Ex- Chairman of Udu Local Government  Transition Committee Chairman Hon. Raymond Edijala and others he found out that  the allegations were  orchestrated by Jite's   political detractors cum opponents. The Clergy man who further stated that If things are done properly Udu Local Government will be  enviable among others local governments in Delta State , advised all the Councilors to work in synergy with the Executive Chairman inorder to take Udu Local Government to greater heights.

Earlier the Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Hon.ChiefJite who thanked Archbishop Avwomakpa for the visit promised to bring sustainable development to Udu kingdom via the SMART Agenda of Delta State Governor. In vein the Speaker of the Udu Legislative Arm Hon.Goru Jonathan who promised to work with the Executive Arm of the Council thanked Avwomakpa for the August visit. High point of the occasion was the  anointing of the Chairman’s  office, the Legislative Charmber, the Staff by Archbishop Avwomakpa.

After the departure of Archbishop Avwomakpa the Delta State Christian Community from Asaba visited the Executive Chairman of Udu where they offered series of prayers for the Chairman and all the Staff of the Council.

Present at the meeting were: Udu Council's HPM Mr.Ukutsemuya Macauley, Bishop Dave Omena, Reverend Joshua Dede, Udu Local Government Vice Chairman Hon.Justice Iyasere among others.
