Governor Okowa's excellent performance will earn him second tenure...Prof oyovbaire.

All support groups of the PDP have been challenged to work as a team in marketing the good works of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa to the electorate as next year election draws close.The Chairman, Delta State Advisory Council Prof Sam oyovbaire gave the charge in Asaba when he played host to the Director General and Executive members of Vote Okowa Again VOA,a pressure group of the PDP .

Prof oyovbaire said the task of bringing the incumbent Governor back to government House Asaba is easier because he has made meaningful impact in all wards in the state with his infrastructural development enshrined in the SMART agenda.He said despite the paucity of funds the present administration in Delta due to high level of prudence and accountability was able to embark on several landmark projects and also invested in human capital development resulting in the reduction of the number of jobless youths.

He commended the group for championing the mobilisation of the people to support the second term bid of Senator Okowa and pledged to support any vision geared towards giving the Governor another four years in office.He said PDP since its birth in Nigeria has done well especially in Delta State stressing that Delta is the only state where former governors and their deputies as well as past state chairmen of the party have remained in the party in addition to working with the incumbent to move the state forward.
He sued for peace among PDP members and Deltans in general for all round development of the state.

The Director General, Vote Okowa Again Comrade Hope George said the visit was to pledge loyalty to Prof oyovbaire and to thank him for his contributions to the success stories of the present administration in Delta.He said the group has embarked on aggressive mobilisation of the people to reelect the Governor due to his track record of performance and purposeful representation and urged the host to rally round them in the pursuit of their vision.Comrade George said VOA has supporters from all parts of the state and will work with the party in the actualisation of the second term bid of Governor Okowa.
