Warri South LGA Women pledged to Vote Okowa Come 2019.

******†*As they pledged to continue to pray for the Governor and his family.

This was the stand of the Widows of Warri South LGA at  Unity Hall, Governor's office Annex, Warri, during the 2nd phase of the interactive meeting between the SSA Youth Development who doubles as the Coodinator, Government Special Projects, Warri South LGA, Comrade Hope George, the Coodinator, Social Welfare Scheme, Alhaja Maryam Nabiri and the Widows.

The Governor's aide described women as major partners in the Okowa's Administration.
He said Governor Ifeanyi Okowa is determined in reducing the suffering of women. He said for the first time in the history of Delta State, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa ensured that through the PDP at least three women in each of the twenty five LGA emerged as Counsellorship Candidates, today these women are already Honorable Counsellors.

The SSA who is also the Director General Vote Okowa Again (VOA) 2019 said five hundred and forty Women across the State are currently Liaison officers to the Delta State Governor, two  from each ward.
He added that in December, 2017, Deltans witnessed the Empowerment of the first set of women trained in different vocations by the Executive Assistant, Women Development & Empowerment under the Women Empowerment Skills Acquisition Programme (WESAP)
Comrade George further stated that through Rev. Mrs Omatsola Williams the Honorable Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development a lot has been done for Delta Women.

He assured the women of more goodies to come.
