Hon. Tidi Begins Investment Drive, Orders Relocation Of ' Okrika ' Traders.

As part of efforts to make the Oil City of Warri in Delta State more investor-friendly, The Executive Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Hon. Michael Tidi on Monday March 19th  ordered traders who display their second -hand clothing wares (Okrika) along the Bowen Avenue and front of the popular Mciver Market, Warri to relocate to Pessu Market.

Hon. Michael Tidi who led other members of his executive to Pessu Market last week, had promised traders at the market that he would attract the sale of second-hand clothes and other businesses that will boost commercial activities in Pessu Market.

The Warri South Council Boss who addressed the chairman of Warri South chapter of Delta State Traders and Market Leaders' Council, Comrade Amali Stephen and other members of his leadership, gave the traders the third week of April (next month) to relocate to Pessu Market which has available spaces before the commencement of the enforcement order by the end of April. He stressed the resolve of his administration to transform Warri to a modern city with the support of community leaders.

The Warri South Council Supervisor for Youths and Sports, Mr. Shegue Eboneso, the Head of Personnel Management, Mrs. Remi Omatsuli, Treasurer to the Local Government, Mr. Sunny Otighi and some personal aides of Hon. Michael Tidi, accompanied him on the working visit.
