"Synergy Among Security Agencies Has Positively Imparted on our Peace, Resources" Says Gov. Okowa.

Delta State Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa has explained that the synergy existing among security agencies in the state has greatly improved the peace and resources of the state.
Senator Okowa stated this  today ( 21/3/18) when the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 6 Division, Nigerian Army, Major General Musa Yusuf, paid him a courtesy call in Asaba.

The Governor noted that the Army in the state have been very professional in the discharge of their duties stressing that " this synergy has helped us to achieve a lot of peace in the state"

Explaining further, he observed that when all security agencies work together there is a lot of result to be achieved, "we must appreciate them, we will continue to provide you with the necessary support to function adequately."

Senator Okowa assured them that the request they made will be looked into especially in providing a good location for the establishment of 63 Division in Asaba.

Earlier, the GOC, 6 Division, Major General Yusuf, informed the governor that he was on a familiarization visit of the Divisions under his command (Delta, Bayelsa and Rivers State) and assured him of his troop maximum performance to sustain peace and security in the state.
