OMIMI CHALLENGED ALL PDP SUPPORT GROUPS TO EMBARK ON GRASSROOTS CAMPAIGN ...........Lauds Gov Okowa for massive construction of Roads,Hospitals,Vocational Centres and empowerment of Youths and Widows.

The Political Adviser to the Governor of Delta State Hon Omimi Esquire challenged all PDP support groups to embark on grassroots campaigns highlighting the giant strides of the Governor Okowa. Omimi who was speaking to newsmen in Asaba commend Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for using his SMART agenda to promote unity among the different ethnic nationalities in the three senatorial districts of the state.

He said the task of bringing the incumbent Governor back to government House Asaba is easier because he has made meaningful impact in all wards in the state with his infrastructural development.

He said despite the paucity of funds the present administration in Delta due to high level of probity was able to embark on several landmark projects and also invested in human capital development resulting in the reduction of the number of jobless youths.

He outlined some of the landmark projects to include the upgrade of the Asaba airport, the Asaba underground drainage, massive construction of roads,building,equipping and upgrade of hospitals,schools,vocational centres and empowerment of youths and widows.

Hon Esquire challenged all PDP support groups to embark on grassroots campaigns aimed at highlighting the giant strides of the Governor in addition to mobilizing eligible voters  to go and register with INEC in the ongoing voters registration to exercise their franchise in the forthcoming general elections.
