In what could be described as reawakening of consciousness and the supreme fact that political power resides with the power as was exhibited today at an enlarged general meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party Patani LGA Chapter which had in attendance Chief Emma Amgbaduba, Delta South Senatorial District Vice Chairman, Leaders of the party in the local government area including former Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Basil Ganagana, Chairman of Council Hon Perez Omoun, Hon Timi Tonye, Barr Brave Enodeh, Hon Mrs Josephine Abeki, amongst others.

The meeting which was going smoothly saw speaker after speaker expressing satisfaction with the administration of Governor Okowa and the need for him to continue and run for a second term in 2019. The Hausa and Yoruba community also endorsed Sen. Okowa for a second term.

In what seem like a little disagreement from the crowd finally snowballed into shouts of No No No No No............ Woo Woo Wooo Woooo Wooooo......... renting the air when the Member Representing Patani Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly Hon. Timi Tonye mounted the podium to speak.  The ugly incident almost brought the meeting to an end as the crowd refused to give in to pleas from Barr Brave and Hon Perez Omoun to create a soft landing for Timi Tonye.

It is now crystal clear to the whole world that Timi Tonye is not on ground in Patani and is not in touch with the people who elected him. These are warning signs ahead of 2019 and the popular clamour for youthful representation in the state assembly which has become a daily rhetoric by those clamouring for under 40 years to represent them in the state assembly.
