VOA PASS VOTE OF IMPLICIT CONFIDENCE ON GOVERNOR OKOWA AND PDP STATE CHAIRMAN
VOA 2019 Campaign Organization held her general meeting yesterday the 26th of April 2018 at Press Hall Government House, Asaba.
The meeting was presided over by the Director General VOA, Comrade Amb. Hope George who is the Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Youth Development.
The DG while giving his welcoming speech thanked Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for making his administration people friendly, project oriented towards sustainable Socio-economic development and, law and order which have been experienced through peace and security in the State.
He also thanked the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP for the total support given to the administration of governor Ifeanyi Okowa. Stating that the party as led by Barr Kingsley Esiso has provided the governor with use suggestions and roburst input that has yielded positive results.
Speaking further Hope George thanked the Anioma Nation for appreciating the good works of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for Delta State by honouring him. He said Governor Okowa"s SMART Agenda has impacted on the people.
The DG also thanked members of VOA for the roles they played at various level to sensitize the masses on the developmental strides of the Okowa's administration and, what the administration is set to do when reelected.
The VOA group consists of the governor's aides, Ward Liaison Officers, Youth leaders, Women leaders and other political representatives.

Mr Victor Ngare who commended the administration of governor Ifeanyi Author Okowa said, "I am from Cross Rivers State but base here in Delta. What I've seen the governor do in Delta State is worthy of praises as his transformation agenda is progressive, and has performed better than the governor of my state ( Cross Rivers State). I will be an Ambassador of Vote for Okowa".
Hon Ebikefe Frank aka Shine Ya Eyes SA to the Governor from Patani LGA admonished members of VOA to work with diligence as there is gain in diligent labour.
On her own, Mrs Caroline Akpomedaye from Warri South LGA thanked Governor Okowa for running a gender friendly administration and suggested that there should be more voters sensitization.
Also commending the Governor Comrade Dele Akpatashi SA Youth Development from Ika South said the governor is a Blessing to all.
Hon Isaiah Ogah SA to the Governor from Warri South West appealed to members to also embark on voters sensitization program in the rural areas especially in the riverine areas stating that governor Ifeanyi Okowa has done marvelously well in the riverine communities in terms of infrastructural development.
Hon. Jerry Erhuvwejuve Udu Coodinator VOA, said Okowa will be the first PDP Governor to Win Udu LGA.
Hon. Joseph Ikewe Coodinator Aniocha South who is the Vice Chairman of the Council Area said Governor Okowa has performed excellently well.
Mr Anyafulu Frederick (JP) Coodinator Oshimil South VOA, for his part said Governor Okowa has given Asaba a look that befits a State headquarters, that his people will vote like never before.
Chief Atiti Augustine SA to the Governor, Special Duties who is the Coodinator for Sapele LGA said Sapele people have adopted Governor Okowa as their own.
Before the meeting was adjourned by Hon Clinton Gbaragada Secretary VOA Warri North LGA, the group passed a vote of implicit confidence on Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and the leadership of the People Democratic Party (PDP) stating that the Governor and the party has made Deltans proud making the campaign more easier for VOA 2019 due to the unprecedented developmental achievements by Okowa's administration.
High point of the meeting was the resolution to hold a Mega Rally come May 2018 in solidarity with the good works of the Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa.
The meeting was attended by his members across the twenty five LGA.
