ESISO ASSURES DC 40 OF OKOWA VICTORY COME 2019
The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State, Chief Kingsley Esiso has assured Deltans including DC 40 group, that come 2019, the incumbent Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, will still emerge as the next Governor.
Chief Esiso who played host to members of the Delta Central for Okowa 2019 DC 40, said that the issues of the Governor's second coming is forgone conclusion owing to his success story with the massive infrastructural and human capital development of the State.
He told the gathering of youths who came from across Delta Central to pay him a courtesy call in his office at the state PDP Secretariat in Asaba that his office was open to everybody and that he was always ready to encourage any group whose interest was for the betterment of the party and the government of Delta State.
The PDP Chairman urged the group who were in his office to intimate him on the forthcoming "Uvwie Generally Assembly" for the second coming of Okowa to work very hard pointing out that at the appreciate time, they will reap the dividends of their hard work.
Earlier, the chairman DC 40 comrade Anthony Arienekhi, told the PDP Chairman that Delta Central for Okowa (DC 40) was a political pressure group in the eight local government area of Delta Central Senatorial District with the Executive officers selected from each of the LGA in the district with a coordinator as the head.
He told the chairman further that they had a strength of over 4,000 registered PVC members in each of the LGA, adding that their focal point was to mobilize support with registered PVC members by organizing laudable programmes and events to bring back the Governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa to office come 2019.
He added "As we all know, he is our road Governor, the Governor has proved himself beyond measure since inception in 2015 till date, he had built bridges across the state. He has also constructed lots of roads across the states that is why we call him the road Governor, just to mention a few, the dualization of Sapele/Warri road in Sapele local government which is a first of its kind since 1999 and others within the state. He has an acceptable character by all our great party faithful.”
