AHEAD OF PEOPLES DEMOCRATIC PARTY PRIMARIES: VOTE YOUR CONSCIENCE. RUKKY

Ahead of the forthcoming People’s Democratic Party primaries, aide to Hon Ben Rollands Igbakpa, the leading contender of Ethiope Federal Constituency seat at the House of Representatives in 2019, Comr Rukky Samuel Cfr , has called on all delegates to vote their conscience to deliver their preferred choice to lead them and refrain from acts that would be inimical to the growth and success of the party.

Rukky made this known to some members of the press when Hon. Ben Igbakpa consulted the newly constituted delegates in Mosogar and Oghara over the weekend. Adding that the PDP remains the greatest political party in Nigeria and I am happy that it is surmounting all hurdles.

“As dedicated party people (delegates), we must continue on the path of equity, fairness and love which are the endearing values of our great party, the PDP, so that our conscience speaks well and not be disturbed”,  stressing that “the only way to ensure victory for the party at the general elections in 2019 is to deliver a sellable candidate during primaries, and afford the party the convenience of tackling all forms of internal wrangling".

When delegates are allowed to have their say in issues that concern them, their conscience will be at rest when the candidate they vote for is delivering dividends of democracy to their door steps.

He also advised all delegates “to come out in their numbers with a strong show of solidarity, to vote their conscience to allow the party to have a soft landing in the 2019 general elections".

For the outcome of the forthcoming people’s democratic party primaries contest will be a testament of the overwhelming support our great party PDP will enjoy during the 2019 poll”.He Added
