Urhobos Are In Support of Okowa's Second Tenure Says Onuesoke.

Ahead of the 2019 Gubernatorial Election in Delta State, a Chieftain of the People's Democratic Party PDP in Delta State and  former governorship aspirant in Delta State on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Sunny Onuesoke  has again reiterated that the  Urhobos of  Delta State  (Delta Central Senatorial District)  are in full  support of Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa's re-election come 2019. Onuesoke who made this known today in Udu stated that according to the political arrangement of the Delta State  People's Democratic Party PDP, each senatorial district is to govern for 8 years I.e. two tenures, stressing that Delta North Senatorial District  supported the Urhobos of Delta Central for 8 years when Chief James Ibori was the Governor of Delta State and Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta South Senatorial District respectively. While affirming  that Governor Okowa is entitled to a second term because what is good for goose is good for the gander, stressed  that Governor Okowa who is a disterbalized Deltan has performed creditably well since he assumed office via his SMART Agenda.

 As Urhobo an man and former Gubernatorial Aspirant in Delta State it was an agreed understanding in the Delta State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)  that each of the 3 senatorial districts will rule  for 8 years, noting  that Delta North cannot be an  exemption Onuesoke stated.

Speaking further the media guru maintained that the governor had executed  projects across the state in fulfillment of his SMART agenda, and commended the people of Delta  for the confidence they reposed in Okowa, while appealing for their continued support. According to him, since assumption of office and informed by his desire to promote technical and vocational education, he had  reconstructed the state-owned technical colleges in Agbor, Ofagbe and Sapele have complemented the job creation policy of the Okowa led administration
