ELECTION: GOV OKOWA URGES PARTY FAITHFULS TO ESCHEW BITTERNESS AND WORK FAITHFULY TO ACHIEVE TOTAL VICTORY FOR THE PARTY
The Delta State Governor Sen.Dr Ifeanyi Okowa has called on Party Leaders/Faithfuls to eschew bitterness amongst one another and Work faithfuly in other for the Party to achieve all round electoral Victory as we approach the Delta State Guber/Assembly Election.
Gov Okowa who made this known Yesterday at the Delta Central Senatorial Districts PDP enlarged meeting which was held in Uvwie LGA urged Party faithfuls to Consider the Interest of the Party first noting that as they cast their votes for him for Governor they should also cast their votes for the House of Assembly Candidates of the Party.
"We must put aside our differences and think of how we can repair our tomorrow because it's not good to destroy the foundation laid by our Political leader Chief James Onanefe Ibori, let's focus on the forthcoming Guber/Assembly elections because I have Confidence that PDP will come out Victorious Come March 9th, 2019"he added.
He called on the Party Leaders to at all Point in time Includes the Youths and Women in all the Planning Processes including the areas of logistics noting that there will be difficulty if you decided as a Party Leader to ignore the Involvement of the Youths and Women, he urged Party Leaders not to retire home just after casting their votes but to followup the results to the end.
"As you cast your votes for me, also vote for the House of Assembly candidates, there should be no discrimination, it is not about the candidate, it is about the Party PDP; nobody can stop us because, God is fully behind us" Gov Okowa added.
