Ooni of Ife reacts to federal government on Amotekun.

Ooni of Ife, A traditional ruler in Yoruba land has reacted to Federal Government declaring Amotekun Group of Security as ilegal.

Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja ii, is the Ooni of the Yoruba Kingdom of Ile-ife.

In a report, Ooni of Ife described Aalafin of Oyo has a well experienced traditional ruler in Yoruba land, Old and well known.

Ooni of Ife said his counterpart, Alaafin of Oyo has written to the Federal Government of Nigeria, President Mohammed Buhari on 'Amotekun'. He also said he's speaking the mind of all the traditional rulers in Yoruba land.

He described Amotekun, Network of Vigilante in Yoruba land as a group of security that is capable under our traditional ethics to fight insurgency in Yoruba land.

He proceeded, Amotekun is not a foreign or external security force but our indigenous group of security so he beseech all politicians in Yoruba land, Governors and elders in Yoruba land , to be supportive of the Amotekun Network of Vigilante.

Despite, The Ooni of Ife, a traditional ruler of Yoruba Kingdom in Africa has endorsed and declared his full support for Amotekun Operations officially, Federal government has not step down from their decision "says Amotekun is Ilegal".
