*WHY CHIEF BARR. KINGSLEY ESISO DESERVES ANOTHER

The noise are increasing on the Delta State Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, State Congress with who Emerges as the state party chairman; one major effect, though on a low level as we battle the battering effects of covid 19, this should be discarded as sound and fury signifying nothing.
Talking of the State Chairman position been retained by the incumbent Barr Kingsley Esiso is to presume the party itself knows and appreciate how successful he has led them in the previous elections.
There should be no miscalculations this time as the party prepares for an era that might see them face the biggest political fight of their lives, not with a figure as big as the present Deputy Senate President,Chief Barr Ovie Omo-Agege in the opposition All Progressive Congress, APC.
In the last few weeks, we have witnessed a comedy of errors whereby some PDP stakeholders, mostly from his political home, Sapele, have raised their voice against his return , and gone on to even pen a petition with one of them demanding that Esiso should not contest for the post of the State party Chairman, since the position is zoned to Sapele Local Government area, their airy and utopian excuses will makes for good newspaper headlines and nothing else. It is preposterous to insist that a sitting Chairman should not go for a second-term when he is entitled to do so.
I think those who are opposed to him should challenge him at the polls if they can. In my opinion, they don’t stand a chance against him and they know it.There is nothing new about these jokers. All they have to offer is the same bad news. The reality they don’t want to face is that Esiso is unstoppable as the Delta State PDP chairman.
A new candidate does not even have a good chance which the voice is apparently relying on. It sometimes takes Nigerians a long time to face reality and admit defeat. This is the case with an opposition party governorship candidate who has become a serial loser. The bitter truth is that, try as he might; he can never be governor of Delta State. The 2023 election will be between PDP and PDP, putting in thought what Governor Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa has done working hand in hand with a workaholic state Chairman, Kingsley Esiso
The vision of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, is to be the number one party in Delta, not only in Nigeria but Africa as a whole while on the other the party aim is to achieve and sweep elections while reaching out to all and sundry.
The essence of this write up therefore is to critically examine the Vision and Mission of a man who has done so much in his stint as a party Chairman.
Has Barr Esiso repositioned the party according to its Vision and provide an answer? Barr Esiso after his emergence as Chairman of the party in the state, His Excellency, Dr Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, succinctly described his prowess and competence thus; "Esiso emergence is not only a personal honour and affirmation of confidence in his ability to lead the party, but also places the State in a pivotal position to rally other chairmen to pot here.”
Adding credence to Okowa in his afore cited assertion on the administrative capabilities of Barr Kingsley Esiso, Donald Trump, the number one President of the world stated, "I judge people based on their capability, honesty, and merit".
The Senior Special Adviser on Community and Peace affairs to the Governor, Comrade Benson Okorodudu, beautifully summarizes and lends credibility to the thoughts on Barr kingsley Esiso, when he averred thus; “what PDP has achieved under the leadership of Esiso is commendable and as a Senior Special Assistant, we will give him the necessary backing in terms of support”
The fantastic excerpt from the words of Professor Emeritus captures Esiso as an intellectual asset, administrative expert and result oriented gentleman; "Your ingenious leadership in the party which will galvanize the state to greatness is very commendable. I think PDP had done well by bringing you on the board and whatever you are doing is very commendable. Apart from the fact that you have brought in new ideas, you have remained the leader who is still fresh for the political wars ahead.
The Professor also described him as “a value-added” to the administration of Governor Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, noting that the Delta State, under his watch, has recorded countless laudable achievements to the credit of the administration.
The party chieftains and followers in Sapele except one highlighted that Esiso is a celebrated icon, an enigma, a study in resoluteness, benevolence, audacious, resourceful, creativity, a symbol of unity, a visionary, egalitarian and, most importantly, a great patriot whose love for Deltans and Safarians is infectious.

For his resourcesfulness and to increase its contribution to the state success, Esiso has justified his appointment as the party Chairman of PDP; one of the most skillful and informed decisions by Governor Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa's administration in its drive to revolutionise Delta.
Truly, Esiso is a rare icon, an uncommon achiever, a dedicated reformer and a henchman of the Governor. The fact speaks for itself.
Since Esiso’s appointment as the state party Chairman, a lot of reforms have been initiated, including his empowerment for party faithfuls and his long list of projects that has changed the timber town as never seen before.
If merits and sacrifices still count in appreciating party faithful, then it is imperative that Esiso be re-elected again; if the words of President Trump still holds value in this our global village, that ;"merit should count in our appointments"then reelecting Chief Barr. Kingsley Esiso becomes not only imperative, but expedient, inevitable and an immediate fit for the good of Deltans and Safarians.
