VOA SINGLES GOVERNOR IFEANYI OKOWA OUT AS AN OUTSTANDING GOAL GETTER..
This was part of the resolutions reached at the end of it's National Executive Committee (NEC) held on 22/11/17 at the Unity Hall, Government House Asaba.
The Director General (DG) VOA Comrade Hope George who reeled out the resolutions said the body was happy with the leadership and qualities of His Excellency, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, the Governor and pledged to ensure that the re-election of the Governor was achieved through massive and aggressive campaign in all parts of Delta State.
Comrade George commended the State Chairman of the PDP Olorogun Barrister Kingsley Esiso for ensuring the selection of credible persons as the party Candidates for the Local Government Elections coming up on the 6th of January, 2018.
According, the NEC of VOA, in it's meeting directed the Local Government Coordinations to liaise with NEC members and Political leaders in their localities in all it's activities to ensuring that all parts of the State was carried along in terms of grassroot campaign for the Governor ’s second term bid.
Part of the resolution include robust synergy between the PDP and VOA to ensure landslide victory for all candidates of the Party in all elections.
VOA appealed to all aggrieved members of the PDP over the Local Government Primaries to sink their differences and work for the success of the party pointing out that house divided among itself, can not stand.
Comrade Hope George described reception accorded the PDP Local Government Campaign train led by the SMART Governor in the six Local Government Areas visited in Delta North as unprecedented and urged Local Government Areas in Delta Central and South Senatorial Districts to ensure they surpass the record in Delta North where the Governor hails from.
He appealed to PD members to avoid anything capable of jeopardising the Meaningful Peace Building agenda of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.
