Udu Council Chairman Jite Resumes Office, Inaugurates Udu Legislative Arm As Goru Emerges Speaker.

The Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Council Hon.Chief Jite Brown resumed office today 09/01/18 at Otor-Udu Headquarters of Udu Local Government. The Udu Council Boss who was given a very rousy welcome by the staff, was taken to the various departments of the council by the HPM Mr.Ukutsemuya Macauley. At Chairman’s office, Ukutsemuya briefed him about the Staff strength of the Council and other vital information before formally handing over to the Chairman. In his response, Chief Hon. Jite said he will carefully study the handover note and take necessary action. He also promised to prioritised the welfare of Staff among other developmental strides via the SMART Agenda of the Governor of Delta State Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa.
Earlier the Udu council Chairman as part of his Executive function, inaugurated the 6th session of the Udu Legislative Arm. Hon. Goru Jonathan emerged as speaker, Hon. Ghelekpe Oghenerume- Deputy Speaker,Hon. Lucky Okotete- Chief Whip, Hon . Faith Emetejitaye- Deputy Chief Whip, Hon . Kolodi Counsellor- Majority Leader while Akpojotor Ayoro emerged the minority leader. Other Councillors also inaugurated were: Hon. Ufuoma Baloko,Hon.Owholo Emmanuel, Hon. Chief Gowon Ogheneovo,Hon. Sylvester Kpokpo, Hon. Freeborn Shalokpe,Hon. Ohwofete Hilary,Hon. Daniel Jigbale,Hon. Emmanuel Brotoboh,Hon.onyinye Ogaga,Hon . Alex Kpedo,Hon, Akpojotor Victor,Hon. Henry Ughwujowhovwo,Hon. Charity Egbo and Hon Henry Egbine.
While speaking with Newsmen immediately after the Inauguration, the Speaker of the Udu Legislative Arm Hon.Goru Jonathan work in synergy with the Executive Arm inorder to bring the needed to Udu people.
