PDP GRASSROOTS SUPPORT FOUNDATION - DELTA STATE CHAPTER INAUGURATES LGA EXECUTIVES IN DELTA CENTRAL

The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly -

Right Honourable sherriff Oborevwori has called on the newly inaugurated People Democratic Party PDP Grassroots Support Foundation,Delta central local government chapters to ensure that it holds the grassroot in tact for the party, so as to pave the way for easy victory for Gov ifeanyi Okowa and other PDP candidates come 2019 General Election's.

Right Honourable Sherriff Oborevwori made the call at the weekend during the formal inauguration of the PDP Grassroots Support Foundation, Delta Central Local Government Chapters at Orerokpe capital of Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State.

The Delta State Coordinator of the PDP Grassroots Support Foundation Honourable Precious Onome Ejenake affirmed the group's readiness to deliver Gov Ifeanyi Okowa and other PDP candidates in next year's elections.

Addressing executives and members of the PDP Grassroots Support Foundation, the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly,Right Honourable Sherriff Oborevwori, said that the task for the group was to see that non members of  the party and those who just got to the voting age are injected into the PDP family.

The Speaker represented by his chief of staff Honourable Francis Okan ,expressed his readiness to identify with the group towards making it successful in its core assignment.

Speaking in a similar vein, a stalwart of the party in the state, chief Isaac Itebu who chaired the event expressed optimism in the PDP Grassroots Support Foundation's ability to deliver on its mandate.

For his part, the chairman of Okpe Local Government chief JJ Scott,who was represented at the event promised to support the group and also urged the PDP Grassroots Support Foundation not to relent in spreading the PDP's message to the Grassroots.

A one time chairman of Sapele local government Chief Ejaefe Odebale in his speech implored the group to support PDP aspirants who have track records of great achievements and then pledged to support the group with one hundred and fifty thousand naira to commence work.

The Delta State coordinator of PDP Grassroots Support Foundation honourable Precious Onome Ejenake in his address, disclosed that the group has mapped out strategies to achieve victory for the party.

Honourable Ejenake emphasized that the decision of the group to stand with Gov Okowa was due to his developmental strides that are visible in the twenty five local government areas of the state.

The Okpe coordinator of group comrade Matthew Obriki and other local government areas coordinators in their separate comments, expressed their determination to work in line with the PDP to ensure victory in their council areas.

Higpoint of the event was the unanimous passing of a vote of confidence on Gov Ifeanyi Okowa by all and the formal inauguration of the Delta Central local government chapter of PDP Grassroots Support Foundation
