*******Urged Parents to Allow their Children to Join Voluntary Organization like Red Cross, Scout Association, Man O' War etc.

The Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Youth Development Comrade Amb. Hope George gave the hint while speaking today 23/3/18 at the opening ceremony of the 2018 annual Junior Camp of the Nigeria Red Cross, Warri with the theme "Empowering Junior Crossers for First Aid Emergencies".

The SSA who is an Associate Member of the Red Cross and Patron of Yellow House thanked the leaders of the Red Cross for building leaders of tomorrow.
The Governor's Aide commended Parent/Guardian for their supportive role. He said Voluntarism is a tool for Youth Development.
He  added by calling on parents to allow their children join Voluntary Organization like the Red Cross, Scout Association, Man O' War, Boys/Girls Bridge etc. He said they help instill positive norms and values that will deter antisocial behavior from their children leading to an ethical and acceptable norms in the society. He believe that the teaching, training, motivation and orientation will not only build the wards for the future but, also occupy them from antisocial norms such as cultism.
The Camp will run for three days, starting from today Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th of March, 2018 at Edjeba Estate School, Warri.
