.... urge Political Office holders to Empower their Constituents

The Delta South Senatorial District Vice Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party and Chairman of the State Ad hoc committee on disciplinary matters has charged party leaders to work for the unity of the party. He made this charge when his committee met with leadership of Patani local government area. Speaking further he reiterated that there would be a level playing ground for all Aspirants in the forth coming party primaries.Under my watch, there will be no preferential treatment for any candidate especially in Delta State.
We must be mindful of what we say as party members, because we are one big family and must continue to work together for the party to be successful. Let me state that we have only one candidate in Delta South for now which is the for Governor. Every other person is an aspirant.
Youth and women empowerment is key to creating a stable polity because they are the bedrock of this party and we rely on them to succeed as a party that is youth and women friendly . We will continue to empower our youths. Our youths are not lazy people, what they need is little guidance and support from the leadership to achieve their full potentials.
We should endeavour to maintain a good image for our party as ambassadors of the party. We must also respect constituted authority as well as individuals.
Let's not create enemies for a seat that will only expire in four years and we all will remain together as brothers instead of killing ourselves.
As leaders, you should go back to the wards and ensure that you select leaders from the various ward who will come to Asaba in an enlarged stakeholders meeting of Patani where i will instruct them of the decisions reached as a party.
In his response Hon. Raymos Guanah stated emphathetically that we have only one candidate in Delta State which is Gov Okowa, all others are aspirants seeking for elective offices are merely struggling to represent their people. When we have a candidate, we will all queue behind whoever emerges as the candidate of the party stated he stated.
