Okowa’s Numerous Achievements Will Qualify Him For a Second Term - Afejuku

The Personal Assistant to the State Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party Comr. Edwin Afejuku who doubles as the Coordinator of Delta State PDP Social Media Team (DESPSOMET), has expressed confidence at the re-election of Sen. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa as Governor of Delta State come 2019. He made this disclosure yesterday in an interview with Directreporters in Warri on the occasion of his 40th birthday anniversary celebration.

Afejuku while thanking deltans for the opportunity given to the peoples democraticparty in 2015 by electing Governor Okowa, expressed great optimism that Okowa will surpass the achievements recorded in his first term.

We have a governor who is committed to providing the best for his people in all sectors of the economy. Our health care systems as well as educational institutions have witnessed massive upgrade of facilities  and infrastructure in the last three years of this administration.

When you look at what the government is doing doing in terms of infrastructure, you will agree with me that we have a man who is committed to providing quality infrastructure for every section of Delta State. Our inner cities roads are in good shape and the government is not resting its oars by constructing roads  every section of the state including the riverine communities.

He further stated that, the numerous projects across the 25 local government areas of Delta State, including the job creation programmes (YAGEP/STEP) initiatives of this administration has impacted positively on the lives of deltans and has transformed our youths to entrepreneurs and owners of business enterprises who have started creating jobs for others.

I have no doubt in me that Okowa's numerous achievements will qualify him for second term because in Delta State, we do not believe in propaganda but our good works speak for us. I therefore call on all deltans to give this administration the much needed support for it to succeed beyond 2019 said Afejuku.
