Stronger Delta Team: Esiso Urges Political Appointees To Use Their Privileged Positions Without Blemish, Uplift PDP's Supremacy in Delta.

By Fred Oghenesivbe Esq.

Chairman of Peoples Democratic party (PDP) in Delta State, Barrister Kingsley Esiso, has advised newly sworn-in political appointees across board, to use their positions positively, so as to bring development to their various official jurisdictions and at the same time be good ambassadors of the party.

The capacity Chairman, (as he is fondly called by party faithfuls), gave the advise on Wednesday July 31,2019 at the swearing in ceremony of DESOPADEC board, the State Auditor General and board of the State Civil Service Commission, which took place at the Dome Event Centre Asaba, the state capital.

Esiso noted that their appointments were considered based on past track records which is why their actions and inactions must be beneficial to the good people of Delta State, on the one hand, the state and PDP on the other hand, adding that emphasis must always be premised on open door policy, ensuring simplicity in both internal and external relations in the discharge of their assigned official responsibilities.

He urged the new appointees to adhere strictly to the directives of the state party leader and governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, especially on accountability to the people, transparency, execution of tangible projects, standards in corporate social responsibility and above all, assist the growth, expansion and supremacy of PDP in the State, beyond 2023.

"I thank the governor for his excellent choice of the appointees which goes to show that he is well informed based on wide consultations about individual capacity and contributions in government, at party level and outside the box.

"I have no doubt in my mind that the Stronger Delta team as put together and still ongoing, by the governor will deliver expected dividends of democracy to the  people, and to the extent that at the end of the second tenure, Deltans will be able to differentiate in clear terms between visionary leadership and mere funfair in governance

"You must never exalt yourselves far and above those you are meant to serve, especially stakeholders, people within and outside your official jurisdiction and in this case, people within your immediate communities where development is paramount.

"This administration is focused and shall apply consistent tenacity in implementing set out goals contained in the Stronger Delta agenda and to the last letter.

" I congratulate you all and I expect you to be shinning stars, not only for yourselves but for the people and this administration, so that at the end of this tenure your names shall be written in gold, for posterity," Esiso said.
