Nigeria at 59: Let our Actions and Choices Reflect our hope for a Peaceful Society.
From the time of our founding fathers till this very minute, we have not been without myriads of challenges of how to build our country to the Glory of the black race all over the globe.
The challenges have become even more daring in recent times, as the various components of our inherent internal conflict threatens to destroy what is left of PEACE.
While the above is not a debatable truth, Nigeria at 59 is another opportunity to rewrite our history for our collective victory.
We must embrace the lessons of our inglorious past if we must succeed in the pursuit of Glory and this requires that all citizen must make their honest contribution to the peaceful development of a new Nigeria.
Hence,On this special day of our independence anniversary, I Join all well meaning Nigerians to call for more resolute actions to reflect our hope for a Peaceful and Developed Nigeria for us and the unborn generations of Nigerians.
Happy Independence day!
Hon Comr Shedrack Agediga.
