EDFA DESOPADEC, Nani Appoints New Political Aides, 100 Others As Community Relations and Women Mobilization Officers
The Executive Director, Finance and Administration on the board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission @desopadec_official, Hon. @barrjohnobukohwonani has announced the fresh appointments of four (4) political Aides namely: Mr. Osika Vincent (P.A, Print); Mr. Tega Obiebi (P.A, Community Relations); Mr. Kingsley Obodo (P.A, Security); Mr. Kingsley Obriki (P.A, Security) and One hundred (100) other party faithfuls drawn from the Urhobo Ethnic Nationality to serve as Community Relations Officers(CRO) and Women Mobilization Officers (WMO).
Hon. Nani who made the pronouncement which heralded wide excitement and jubilations at the general meeting/new year party of the @peoplesdemocraticpartypdp in Jesse axis of Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State said that the appointment is in line with His Excellency, Gov. Ifeanyi @iaokowa deliberate strategy to increase youth participation in governance, shapen leadership and build youth capacity in the State.
The Community Relations Officers according to the EDFA, are expected to liaise and serve as intermediary between his office and their communities towards the delivery of dividends of democracy stressing that their appointment is strategic to the success of the bottom top approach of the Hon. Micheal Diden and @bashorunaskia Ogieh led DESOPADEC Board.
Speaking further, Hon. Nani said that the appointment of the CROs and WMOs takes effect from the date that will be communicated in their appointment letter which will be issued within the week and revealed that some of the new appointee have been collecting their salary since September, 2019.
The EDFA had earlier appointed Youth advocate, Comr. O. M. Sagboje @sagmilton , Mr. @ayokadaniel , Mr. @henryuduaghan, Comr. Choice Imirighre, Comr. Evidence Igere, Comr. Kingsley Ejairu and Mr. Akpe Wilson as Principal Secretary, Special Assistants and Political Aides respectively.
