Esiso Hails Gov. Okowa's Victory at Supreme Court

......Describes judgement as the final triumph of justice

The Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Delta State on Wednesday in Abuja, congratulated Gov. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa of Delta State, over the Supreme Court judgement that affirmed his election.

Esiso who disclosed this today 8, January in Abuja after the Supreme Court ruling as an affirmation of the people’s will as expressed through their votes in the March 9, 2019 governorship election in the state.

He Continued" The people have spoken in clear tone and the Judiciary has re-affirmed the will of the people, the Court decision to validate Dr Ifeanyi Okowa's victory at the Governorship Election deserves to be applauded.

Speaking further, Esiso urged the All Progressive Congress (APC)’s candidate Chief Ogboru, to accept the judgment in good faith and support the governor in the task of building  a Stronger Delta.

Esiso, while thanking God for the victory, appreciated the judiciary for rising up to its solemn responsibility of ensuring that justice prevails, also stressed that the judgment was a clear indication that the third arm of government is the last hope of the common man.
