FUPRE @13: ALUMNI CALL ON STAKEHOLDER FOR DEVELOPMENT OF THE INSTITUTE.

• 14 March 2020, Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun celebrate it's 13th Anniversary and Founders’ Day.  It was a time to reflect on the School’s past and present.

• It was an opportunity to laugh, remember, and to praise the memories of this wonderful citadel of learning, first of it's kind in Africa and in six in the world.

•The Alumni Association of Fupre World wide used this medium  reflect and thank its Founding fathers, foundation staff and consider those students, parents and who have been at our school from the very beginning.

• Those who once required gum boots to tread though sand and swamp to get to classrooms, who now walk amongst fresh, open, landscaped and some modern facilities even though the institution still lack much basic facilities that needs upholds the highest standard of the founding fathers.  We acknowledge those that have helped to shape who we are, and community members, both past and present administration who have influenced the character and values that embody the vibrant, engaging, and safe environment we see today.

• The Alumni Association wish to called on all relevant stakeholders (i.e Federal Government, State Government, Oil firm and Others leaders from Niger Delta region) to actively contribute towards the infrastructural development of the school.

• We call on the National asysembly to symbolize this 13years founder day of the institution, by giving a speedy passage to amendment bill of FUPRE Act on the floor of Assembly.

• The Alumni leadership wish to express their dissatisfaction to the management of the institution as they  fail to hold program, to celebrate this great day.
