Video: Treatre Commander, General Adeniyi Laments how Boko Haram Overpowered them

The Theatre Commander, Operation Lafiya Dole, Major General Olusegun Adeniyi has decried the situation at the war front.

In a video obtained by Sahara Reporters, the General admitted that the terrorists are well equipped and attacked them on all sides, reiterating that the soldiers were not running away from the battle.

Speaking in the video, Adeniyi, said, "The soldiers are not running. The 3 Battalion are standing and fighting though we have casualties. Intelligence assessment concerning the operation is very wrong sir. 

"Since yesterday, we've been met by very strong resistance, more than pockets of Boko Haram. This morning from every flank, not more than 15 gun trunks were facing us. These people have fired more than a hundred RPGs at us and have fired several mortars at us. This is the true situation sir, I am here on the ground. No soldier is running away, but these things are working against us."
