COVID-19: PDP Youth Leader Shares Food Items as Palliatives for Elderly Women in Warri

The Peoples Democratic Party PDP Youth Leader in Okere Ward in Warri South LGA Comr. Prince Ovie Enamejewa shared food items to his neighbourhood, Enamejewa and environs.

Comr. Prince Ovie Enemejuwa who made donations and distribution of food items as palliatives to the good people in his neighborhood in order to cushion the effect of the Coronavirus which has taken a hard turn on the people of the.

He said, despite the harsh economic conditions and the present situation in the country, he deemed it necessary with his little resources to reachout to the people in Enamejewa and environs in his neighborhood.

While distributing the food items and other materials, he advised them to stay safe and observe every government precautionary measures to avoid contracting the novel corona virus, called COVID-19.

He also told the elderly women that they are more vulnerable, and as some are less educated on the NCDC guidelines and they need to listen to government information on COVID-19 such as regular washing of their hands, use of sanitizer and face mask whenever they need to go out of their homes.

One of the elderly women Mrs Magaret Oborume thanked Comrade Prince Ovie Enamejewa for his kind gesture and love shown to them during this period of COVID-19. They prayed God to guide him, protect him and bless him sufficiently as he sails higher in life.

However, women of the neighbourhood rejoiced and turned into singing and praising God for the kind gesture of their son.

Prince Ovie asked them not to panic nor fear, that this pandemic will soon disappear, that God is fighting for us to redeem us from this plague.

"Let us continue to pray for forgiveness, mercy and love among ourselves and as well pray for God to heal our land, give us peace, love and dominion to reign over our land".

Furthermore, he assured the people that he will continues to reachout to them whenever it is possible in order to support and assist them in a bid cushion the economic effect of COVID-19, for we one family love, he asserted.

The father of Prince, Comrade Julius Ogiliki Enamejewa who is a PDP Chieftain in Warri South LGA, thanked all the women in the neighbourhood for their show of love and reception given to his son, And he prayed God for peace, mercy and love amongst them.
