Ebie monitors compliance at Delta boundaries

The Secretary to the Delta State Government Mr Chiedu Ebie Esq this evening visited the state borders at Ebu and Idumuje Ugboko in Oshimili-North & Aniocha North LGA’s respectively.

Mr Ebie was accompanied on the inspection by Commissioner for Youth Development Comrade Egwunyenga Ifeanyi Michael.

He remarked that the essence of the inspection was to ensure strict compliance with the inter-state border lockdown geared towards curbing the spread of COVID-19 across Nigeria.

The SSG expressed satisfaction with the compliance level and urged the security agencies and the Taskforce on Boundary Enforcement to intensify effort at ensuring that no unauthorised vehicles and passengers enter into the state during the period of the lockdown.
