DELTA PDP: Esiso Charges Party Chairmen on Leadership Responsibilities And Capacity Buildings - Directreporters
The Delta State Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chairman, Olorogun Barrister Kingsley Esiso today inaugurates the newly elected Wards and Local Government Executives of the party in the 25 Local Government Areas of the State.
The Local Government Areas, whose Chairmen took the oath of office on behalf of their wards and LG executives, following their election victories during the Wards and Local Government Congresses of March, 2020, are as follows:

The state party leaders who attend the inauguration today as follows; Hon. Senator James Manager, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevbori, Rt Hon Ochor O. Ochor, Chief Mrs Nkem Okwofu, Chief Ighoyota Amori, Rt Hon Funkekeme Solomon, Rt Hon Tim Ewhefere, Chief David Edevbie, Hon Michael Diden, Mrs Florence Alatan, Hon Barr. Peter Mrakpor, Hon Omimi Esquire and Chief Godwin Obielum.
The State PDP Chairman, Olorogun Barrister Kingsley Esiso in his speech to the inaugurated Chairmen, charged them on leadership responsibilities, actions and capacity building at their various local government areas.
He encourages them to be respectful, dedicated and humble themselves as true servants of the party at the grassroot as they are the eyes of the party at different LGA structures.
Thereafter, he charges them to carry everyone along in the party by holding party meetings which will strengthen unity, build strongholds and capacity.
He also highlight the need for party stakeholders, leaders and party faithful to continually read the party constitution so that they will be conversant with the party constitution, he said.
He however, expresses concern over ill attitude of some party members to be more resourceful and rational in engaging party matters.
He said, politics is not a community matters, rather it's purely political and democratic affairs. He assures all the LGA PDP Chairmen to be more sensitive and administratively impactful to the great party, he asserted.
He calls on all Deltans to stay at home and be safe. He said, he's aware that these are challenging times for everyone and the administration of Senator, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa is fully determined to do everything possible to cushion the effects of the hardships that will be encountered by our people at this time.
He prays God almighty for protection, deliverance and healing upon our lands in Jesus name, Amen.
