DELTA PDP IS UNITED FOR OKOWA 2019, NO CHALLENGE - SENATOR IGHOYOTA AMORI.

The ever rising leadership and political profile of the SMART GOVERNOR of Delta State, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, has again received another boost as Delta Central PDP leader and Senatorial hopeful, Senator Chief Ighoyota Amori gave kudos to the Okowa administration for its remarkable infrastructure development and progressive good governance initiatives.
Amori in a statement made available to Newsmen today 21st November, 2017 said that trust, transparency, prudent management and political will power are essential integral part of representative government, adding that without these fundamentals no leader or those entrusted with public trust and resources can do much to advance the course of humanity.
He noted that Gov Okowa over the years remains committed to the collective good of society, nourished by his strength of character, unquestionable leadership pedigree which has now reflected positively in his unique style of leadership since he became the 4th democratically elected governor of Delta State.
"To the best of my knowledge our smart governor demonstrated sufficient and modest transparency and accountability in the manner he has been piloting the affairs of the state since May 29, 2015 and still counting.
"The huge roads infrastructure projects completed and ongoing attests to the smooth implementation of the SMART AGENDA initiated by His administration.
"His passion to consistently deconjest the Labour market is another big plus as can be been seen from the enviable results achieved so far through the Youth Agriculture and Skills Training Entrepreneurship Programmes (YAGEP and STEEP).
"His giant strides in the Health, Education, et al, are commendable and I am convinced beyond reasonable doubt that the SMART GOVERNOR will deliberately intensify efforts to develop all sectors of the state economy before handing over to another PDP governor on May 29, 2023.
"The opposition party, the APC and its leaders are not fair to Gov Okowa and his administration. Opposition is not all about total condemnation of what the government in power is doing on about to do.
"Opposition entails commending the government in power for its laudable policies and programmes; achievements and by extention point out where government did not meet the expectations of the People. That's what credible criticisms and sound opposition is all about.
"Gov Okowa has the will-power and proactive leadership style which is yielding tremendous infrastructure development and socioeconomic advancement of the state and as such PDP Delta shall do the needful to ensure that he emerges as our SOLE CANDIDATE, come 2018 party primaries, Amori added.
On his Delta Central 2019 Senatorial ambition, the astute politician and distinguished Senator asserted that he is the most experienced and qualified politician and aspirant for the Red Chambers.
"Senate is for those knowledgeable in national political craft, political will-power and sound pedigree to scheme for the dividend of democracy for the good people of Delta Central and for the state.
"I made quality friends across the political divide during my brief stay at the Senate before the unfortunate happened; and that we shall collectively ccorrect, pursue and overtake, capture and celebrate in 2019.
"I shall return to the Red Chambers in 2019, by the special grace of God and through the massive support of the good people of Delta Central whose mandate for PDP was radically stolen in 2015," Amori said.
Senator Amori shall on Sunday 26th November, 2017 formally declare his Delta Central Senatorial ambition. The event will take place at his country home in Mosogar, Ethiope West, beginning from 12 noon.
He urged PDP leaders, party faithfuls and supporters to be part of the unique declaration.
