UROYE DONATE EXERCISE BOOKS TO THREE SCHOOLS IN ODE-ITSEKIRI,WARRI SOUTH LGA. By:Okorodudu Onoriode Paul.

In a move to encourage students in schools in Ode-Itsekiri in Warri south local government,a philanthropist and the former transition commitee chairman of Warri south local government council Hon.Dr.Augustine Uroye JP.

Austin Uroye today  23/11/2017 donated volumes of exercise books to students of Orugbo primary school Giniwa primary school,and Erejuwa secondary school in Ode-Itsekiri in Warri south local government area of Delta state.

Uroye who had earlier donated exercise books and other wrtting materials to students of Igbogidi primary school,Igbogidi in Udu local government area stated that the gesture was his little way of contributing to education in the society,urged parents to ensure that their children went to school to attain the minimum basic education.

According to him,it had been part of his mission to give hope to the less privileged students,nothing that the books would help develop the pupils as well as assist parents who may not be buoyant enough to purchase necessary exercise books for their children.

Uroye further expressed his determination to help students,especially the less privilege to make sure that they fulfilled their dreams of acquiring education.
Responding on behalf of the beneficiaries,the principal of Erejuwa secondary school Mrs Agbajule Alero thanked the donor,and appealed to other indigenes of the area to emulate the good gesture. She promised that the books will be judiciously and effectively used in boosting educational development of the schools.
