Okowa Administration Will Continue To Address Needs Of The People —Ukah
DELTA State Commissioner for Information, Ogbueshi Patrick Ukah has expressed the determination of the state government to provide infrastructure, economic and social needs of the people, in line with the Okowa administration SMART Agenda, but pleaded with Deltans to cast their votes for the re-election of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa in 2019, and election of all PDP candidates to facilitate the implementation of all the party`s people- oriented programme for the total emancipation of the people.
He gave the charge during the inauguration of the Agbagadapu unit, of Obodogba cell, of the People’s Democratic Party [PDP], Okpanam, Oshimili North Local Government Area, Delta State recently.
The Commissioner emphasized that Okowa administration has undoubtedly performed even beyond the expectations of the masses within the past three years, especially in the core areas of road construction\rehabilitation, health care delivery, education, water, economic planning and management as well as empowerment of the people generally.
He stated that “You will all agree that the present administration led by Senator Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa has been very responsive to the various needs of the people, and shall continue to do so, provided that the people should cast their votes for him again in 2019 to enable him complete his mission and objectives for the alleviation of the suffering of the people,”
stressing that casting of massive votes for the re-election of the Governor in 2019 will not only spur him to do more, but will serve as a political tonic for leaders In their various wards\communities to attract more empowerments or projects to their domain.
Commissioner Ukah assured the residents of Agbagadapu Estate, Obodogba Quarters, Okpanam that in due course, Okowa administration shall embark on more road projects, which will swiftly address some of their needs, adding that “In the next few months, the Okowa administration will embark on the construction of about 10 strategic roads and drainages in Okpanam community and its environs to complete the ones already being done in the area by the government.
