The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Youth Development Comrade Amb Hope George disclosed this while speaking to newsmen on the Award presented to His Excellency, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, Governor of Delta State for his giant strides in Sports and the Victory of Delta state contingents in the just concluded 19th National Sports Festival held in Abuja.
The SSA also congratulated Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on the Award presented to him by the Minster for Youths and Sports Development Dr. Solomon Dalug for promoting Track and Field Athletes in Africa and urged him to see the honour as a call to greater service.
The Governor aide lauded the chairman Delta State Sports Commission Chief Tony Okowa, Chief Solomon Ogba and the Coaching crew for the laurels and enjoined them to redouble efforts in breaking new ground in Sports.
Comrade George told Delta Youths to use their PVCs to reelect Governor Okowa come 2019 to enable him do more with his SMART agenda.
